MSC has used both City Cruise Terminal and Horizon Terminalin Southampton's Eastern Docks, depending on the season and ship. Confirming which terminal you need before travel is essential — both facilities have separate entrances and you cannot walk between them with luggage.

MSC Terminal: City or Horizon?

The key question for MSC passengers is always: which Eastern Docks terminal? Here's the practical guidance:

• City Cruise Terminal (Town Quay, SO14 2AQ) — directly on the waterfront, highly accessible
• Horizon Terminal (Eastern Docks, SO14 3GH) — the newer facility, slightly further into the docks

Your MSC e-ticket and online check-in will specify the terminal. If you're unsure, call us on 02380 405060 with your ship name and sailing date — we can usually confirm.

MSC Yacht Club Priority Boarding

MSC Yacht Club passengers — MSC's ship-within-a-ship premium experience — benefit from priority boarding and a dedicated Yacht Club entrance at the terminal. Aurea Experience guests also receive enhanced check-in services. We time your pickup so you arrive for your priority boarding window, not after it.

Pickup and Drop-Off at Eastern Docks

For embarkation: Your driver takes you directly to the terminal entrance. Porters collect your cases. You proceed to check-in. No parking, no shuttle, no navigating the Eastern Docks road network yourself.

For disembarkation:Your driver waits at the terminal exit with a name board. After you clear Border Force and collect your luggage, you walk out and your driver is there. We monitor the ship's arrival in Southampton to be there when you need us.

MSC Luggage and Group Transfers

MSC ships are large — MSC's newer vessels carry over 6,000 passengers. For groups of 5 or more, or passengers with significant luggage, we allocate larger vehicles at no extra cost. Just tell us your passenger count and luggage volume when booking.
